About me

Foto con mi cara

My name is Ana, and I'm from Ronda, (Málaga, Spain). I have always enjoyed natural sciences and mathematics, so I studied physics in the university of Granada, and then I did a master in astrophysics here as well. Now I'm doing my PhD thesis at IAA (Institute of Astrophysics of Andalucía), in the extragalactic astronomy department.

I dedicate myself to study the evolution of galaxies, in particular those that are in the emptiest parts of the Universe. Besides research, I have many more insterests, like outreach, or activism to make science a more equitative place for everyone.
